Separate from every other agency, at the database.
Isolated per agency
Every row of agency data is tagged with its agency, and the database itself refuses to show or change another agency’s rows. An automated test suite tries to cross between agencies and checks that it cannot.
Read-only Hostfully access
HostCloser reads your homes, rates and calendars. It never changes them. Creating inquiries in Hostfully is a separate switch, off until you turn it on.
Keys stored encrypted
Your Hostfully API key and other secrets are encrypted before they are stored and never shown again, only their last 4 characters.
Not used to train AI
Your data and your guests’ conversations are used only to run your account. They are not used to train AI models.
Only the people you invite, with the right to do their job.
Owners and staff
Owners manage settings, billing and the team. Staff answer guests and follow leads.
Two-step sign-in for owners
Owners set up a code app before they can use the account, with single-use recovery codes.
Sign-in protection
Repeated failed sign-ins are slowed down and then locked for a while, per network and per account.
Support access is logged
When HostCloser support opens your account to help, every page viewed and every change made is recorded in your audit log.
Honest with guests, and their choices respected.
Told they are chatting with AI
The chat says so before the first message, and a guest can ask for a person at any time.
Consent with the exact words
When a guest agrees to emails, HostCloser stores the wording they saw, with the time. Follow-ups go only to guests who agreed.
Unsubscribe in one click
Every marketing email carries your mailing address and an unsubscribe link that works at once, including the one-click button in Gmail and Apple Mail.
Privacy signals respected
Visit tracking follows your cookie consent banner and browser privacy signals. Access, export and deletion requests are handled within 30 days.
